Antique Timber Doors - Specialists in the manufacture and supply of oak, elm and re-cleamied doors.

We make any size or style of door in any kind of timber. From a set of 15 oak ledge and brace doors for a barn conversion with a grander designed front door and stable back door to a one off copy to match the existing doors. Very often we will make the doors for an extension to match the doors in the original house.

We have replaced every single door in a modern bungalow with solid timber (new Quebec yellow pine in this case) 4 panel doors – they have transformed the house. We have just made 16 solid oak Georgian style 6 panel doors for a reproduction Georgian house being built locally. We also supply door kits to a number of reclamation yards – they sell them on to their customers who fancy a DIY door!

These 2 bespoke doors are made from wide board English Red Elm. They are designed around the wood that we have and are meant to highlight the very best features of the wood. Each one is different – no two doors will ever look the same. They finish at 30mm thick and are finished using Danish Oil. Although they can be used for external doors, Elm is a slightly unstable wood due to the differing grain direction in it and with the opposing influences of ambient weather on one face and dry centrally heated house on the other face there is a considerable risk of the door twisting or bending or distorting in some way. These doors cost £350.00+VAT each and are made to order
